Ladywood will be developing a volunteering strategy for the constituency, linking active citizenship to the rest of the GEML project.
Support will be given to develop a ‘good neighbour scheme’ that will connect people who are active in all sorts of ways, including:
- Key holders for local allotments and parks
- Expert growers and buddies
- Local in Bloom groups
- Neighbourhood Forums and Residents Groups
- Neighbourhood Watch and street wardens
- Youth Group Leaders
- Faith Groups
